What is a domain name?
- Your domain name is your address on the Internet. All domain names are unique, as they refer to unique Internet addresses.
- When you type in a website address in your web browser's address bar to go to that website, this website address is known as a domain name. It is just like typing in http://www.ieinternet.com/, which is our domain name.
- A domain name provides you with an online identity and a contact point for your business, organization etc.
