What is a domain name?
Your domain name is your address on the Internet. All domain names are unique, as they refer to unique Internet addresses.
When you type in a website address in your web browser's address bar to go to that website, this website address is known as a domain name. It is just like typing in http://http://www.ieinternet.com/, which is our domain name. A domain name provides you with an online identity and a contact point for your business, organization etc.
