I already have a domain name - can I transfer it to IE Internet?
- When you place an order you can specify that you are transferring from another hosting provider. We will give you an IP address where you can upload a mirror of your website and email set-up in advance of the completion of the transfer.
- The first step of any domain name transfer to IE Internet is to place an order for a transfer here.
- If you have a .ie domain name, you will need to provide us with a letter on your company's headed paper. You can find a template for this letter here.
- This letter should be faxed to us at 01 283 33 39 and once received, the transfer will take about four days to complete.
- The letter must be signed by the listed administrative contact for the domain. Should the administrative contact have left the company, please amend the wording to include the following:
“The previous administrative contact for our domain name has left the company. The new administrative contact is myself, NAME, PHONE NUMBER and EMAIL.”
