IE Internet Support have referred me to something called the ISP. What is that?
- ISP stands for Internet Service Provider, and refers to any company that provides Internet Services.
- While IE Internet is classed as an ISP as we provide Email/Anti-spam services & Web hosting, we do not provide internet connectivity.
- If we tell you to contact your ISP, we are usually reffering to the company who provides you with your Internet connection.
- If your telephone line is with, for example, Eircom. It is a safe bet that your broadband is with them also. Please note that this is not always the case.
