The only characters allowed in a domain name are the 26 letters of the alphabet, numbers 0-9 and dashes (-). A domain name cannot begin or end with a dash, but it can contain a dash. Symbols such as $£%&* are not allowed. You may have up to 63 characters in your domain name, but we would recommend you stay below 20 characters.

How long does it take to register a domain name?

Once we receive your order, we will initiate the registration of your domain name. Actual registration of your domain name can take from 6 hours (for .com/.uk/.net/.org/.info/.biz) to 3 days (for a .ie), with a further 24 to 48 hours required before the domain can be viewable on the Internet.
