How do I know if I am blacklisted?

If you think you may be blacklisted, either because your emails are not being delivered, and bounced back, or because you receive an error when sending, you can use the following steps to find out whether you are or not.

First you need to know what your IP address is. This is your WAN or Internet IP address, not your local IP. The easiest way to find it out is to click here.

This site will show a number seperated by dots in the form of "127.0.0.1". This is your IP address. It is unique to your computer or network on the entire Internet.

Once you have your IP address, copy it, and then go to the following website:

http://www.dnsstuff.com/tools/ip4r.ch?ip=

Paste in your IP address and click lookup. A long list will appear, most will be white, some may be marked as yellow, which usually means the request timed out to that server, and if one or more entry is in red, then you are listed on a blacklist.
