Following are the basic core system and operational requirements for deploying MailWall.

• Hosted (POP3/IMAP4) Mailboxes
  • A permanent or on-demand Internet connection
  • A POP3 / IMAP4 compliant email client
  • Administrative access to the PC or device which the email client is installed on

• Local Delivery (SMTP Feeds)
  • Permanent Internet connection (xDSL, Leased Line)
  • Fixed IP address
  • Administrative access to a SMTP capable server
  • Administrative access to desktop computers
  • Administrative access to local firewalls and routers
  • Understanding of the TCP/IP Intra-networking protocol suite
