Virus found but needed urgently

What happens if a virus is detected but the email contains important information, which is needed urgently?

• Once an email attachment is determined to be infected, the offending attachment is stripped from the email.

• It is replaced by an automatic notification message and quarantined. The uninfected body of the message is still delivered.
