What are the System and Operational Requirements for MailWall?
Following are the basic core system and operational requirements for deploying MailWall.
- Hosted (POP3/IMAP4) Mailboxes
- A permanent or on-demand Internet connection
- A POP3 / IMAP4 compliant email client
- Administrative access to the PC or device which the email client is installed on
- Local Delivery (SMTP Feeds)
- Permanent Internet connection (xDSL, Leased Line)
- Fixed IP address
- Administrative access to a SMTP capable server
- Administrative access to desktop computers
- Administrative access to local firewalls and routers
- Understanding of the TCP/IP Intra-networking protocol suite
