What is the Difference between POP and IMAP?
POP
- Downloads all your email from 'Inbox' folder to your email client and depending on your email client settings it leaves a copy of the messages on server side or removes them completely from server side.
IMAP
- It synchornizes your local mail folders with mail folders on server side. Whenever you delete an email in any of those places it will be deleted in both places.
